Кстати,   на кафедре есть вакансия  не только преподавателя  русского как иностранного, но и украинского как иностранного

Возможна работа как на полную так и на частичную ставку.  (Full-time, Prat-Time)
Зарплата: 

$52,099 в год (полная ставка) 

Итак,  требуются преподаватели: 
  • русского как иностранного для студентов начального -среднего- продвинутого уровней
  • русского языка и культуры для херитажников (Это дети из семей, которые когда-то эмигрировали в Америку, но во время переезда дети были очень маленькими, поэтому они выучили английский, а русский забыли.)
  • русской литературы и культуры на русском языке
  • украинского языка
Минимум требований: степень магистра

Description Department of Slavic Languages and Literatures at UC Berkeley invites applications for a pool of qualified temporary instructors to teach undergraduate courses, should a need arise, in any of the following possible areas:

• Russian Language (Introductory, Intermediate, Advanced).
• Russian Language and Culture for Heritage Speakers.
• Russian Literature and Culture (in original language and in translation).
• Ukrainian Language.

Those qualified in any of the above areas are welcome to apply. Applicants may also be asked to teach Reading and Composition (in English on the works of Slavic and other writers) if applicable.

The number of positions hired from this pool will vary from semester to semester, subject to the needs and budget of the Program, and in some semesters may be zero. When an instructor is hired, the position will most likely be part time, but may range from 25% to 100% of full time employment, depending on the number of classes being taught.

Applications will be accepted and reviewed if/when needed through February 14, 2018. When a need arises for a Fall semester, we typically review applications in March, April or May; for a Spring or Summer semester, our review of applications is typically in October or November.

Positions typically start at the beginning of the semester (in mid-January for Spring Semester; in mid-August for Fall Semester), and appointments may be renewable based on the Program’s need, funding, and on lecturer performance.

General Duties: In addition to teaching responsibilities, general duties include holding office hours, assigning grades, advising students, preparing course materials (e.g., syllabus), and interacting with students outside of class time via email and campus web based course resources.

Minimal Qualification (required at time of application):

• Complete fluency in Russian or Ukrainian, and in English.

• Completed Master’s degree (or equivalent degree) in Slavic Languages and Literatures or related field.

Additional Qualifications (required by the employment start date):

• For those who are not US citizens or permanent residents, a legal permit that allows work in the United States (such as a US visa that allows employment) is required by the start date of the position. The department is unable to provide a visa/work permit.
Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience and demonstrated excellence in teaching at the college level in the U.S.

• If hired to teach R&C, demonstrated experience teaching reading and writing in English.
• If hired to teach a language course, professional training in language teaching.
• Demonstrated knowledge of literature and culture of the area being taught.
• Potential for successful attraction, advising and mentoring students.
• Potential for program development and designing new courses.
• PhD (or equivalent degree) may be preferred, depending on courses being taught.

Salary: Commensurate with college teaching experience, in accordance with the current Unit-18 lecturer salary
scale and its provisions. (The starting 100% full-time annual gross salary rate is currently $52,099.)
